Job summary

Saddle Creek Logistics Services in Harrisburg, NC is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to oversee the delivery of customer products. You will provide real-time driver and load status updates and coordinate coverage for radio, phone, and PeopleNet.

You will ensure the proper flow of documents to and from drivers, enter data into complex software systems, and communicate effectively with management, drivers and customers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year experience in a transportation clerical or similar role.
• Strong data entry and computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide real time driver and load status updates in the TruckMate software system.
• Provide coverage/communications for radio, phone and People Net.
• Ensure proper flow of documents to and from drivers.
• Effectively communicate with management, drivers and customers.
• Enter data efficiently and accurately in complex software systems.
• Perform clerical and administrative functions including sorting, filing and distributing transportation documents.
