Job summary

PUMA Group is hiring for a Shipping Associate in Carlsbad, CA. You will read and interpret manufacturing orders to ensure accurate shipping terms, and prepare domestic and international shipments following carrier and customer requirements.

You will generate labels, packing slips, and carrier documents, maintain records in ERP/WMS, and support continuous shipping improvements. The role requires basic computer skills and familiarity with major carriers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent combined education and experience.
• 6+ months of experience in shipping, warehouse, manufacturing, distribution, or logistics operations preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, packing slips, and manufacturing orders.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems preferred.
• Experience with UPS, FedEx, DHL, and freight carrier shipping systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret manufacturing orders to ensure proper shipping terms are applied.
• Prepare and process domestic and international shipments in compliance with requirements.
• Generate and apply shipping labels, packing slips, and carrier documents.
• Maintain shipping records and manage ship complete process in ERP/WMS.
• Ensure proper palletization, labeling, and loading at docks.
• Safely move pallets using material handling equipment and maintain workstation cleanliness.
• Support shipping-related inquiries and cross-team coordination.
