Job summary

Openwork is seeking a Shipping & Logistics Coordinator in Port Arthur, TX to support daily shipping operations at our facility. You will coordinate shipments, prepare documentation, and ensure DOT requirements are followed.

Responsibilities include weighing trucks, auditing paperwork for GMP compliance, and tracking demurrage and logistics fees. This role requires DOT certification, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate late or missed shipments with customers and Customer Service.
• Prepare and email shipping paperwork, including COAs, to customers and drivers.
• Weigh in/weigh out trucks and ISO containers.
• Audit shipping paperwork for accuracy, completeness, and GMP compliance.
• Update rejected loads and track demurrage, scheduling charges, and logistics fees.
• Verify inventory and tank space availability.
• Maintain placard and shipping sticker inventory.
• Ensure DOT regulations followed for each shipment.
• Assist with training loaders and other administrative duties as needed.
