Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a SCA Warehouse General Clerk to ensure accurate and timely shipping documentation. The role reports to the Operations Supervisor or Manager and involves coordinating with carriers, site personnel, and drivers to meet outbound requirements.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, warehouse experience, and familiarity with warehouse management systems. The role may require nonstandard hours and physical lifting as part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Experience with Manhattan Warehouse Management System preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to handle changing priorities with good judgment.
• Good visual acuity and finger dexterity for data input.
• Accurate recordkeeping and inventory reporting daily.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Spanish bilingual ability preferred but not required.
• MHE experience or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Communicates via email with outbound carriers daily for schedules and equipment needs.
• Coordinate with site personnel to ensure operational requirements are met.
• Receive drivers and direct outbound shipments.
• Use warehouse management system to open/close shipments and prepare bills of lading.
• Ensure drivers depart with correct paperwork.
• Maintain accuracy of shipping documents per SOPs.
• Enter and maintain shipping data in the system.
• Resolve discrepancies and assist with material handling tasks as needed.
• Monitor trailer capacity and coordinate with spotters.
• Support leadership with additional administrative duties.
• File outbound paperwork for easy retrieval and maintain seal logs.
• Maintain load board information and assign work tasks as needed.
