Job summary

Emerald Technologies in Brea, CA is seeking a Shipping Lead to oversee daily shipping operations, ensure accurate and timely shipment of PCBA products, and support inventory control of semi-finished and finished goods. You will coordinate with carriers, customers, and internal teams to meet delivery requirements and resolve discrepancies.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, strong communication, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced EMS environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate\'s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of shipping, logistics, warehouse, or inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing, EMS, or PCBA environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review customer requirements, routing guides, and shipping instructions to ensure shipments meet customer specs and delivery requirements.
• Process and coordinate domestic and international shipments using UPS, FedEx, and freight carriers with on-time delivery.
• Verify the accuracy of shipping notices, bills of lading, packing slips, invoices, and other shipping documentation.
• Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries, track shipments, and resolve shipping-related issues.
• Utilize ERP and reporting systems to verify inventory transactions, pull product from production, and ensure shipments are processed against correct customer orders.
• Maintain accurate shipping, inventory, and transaction records while supporting inventory control of semi-finished and finished goods.
• Assist with training, process improvements, and resolution of shipping discrepancies to support operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
