Emerald Technologies is seeking a Jr. Process Engineer for our Brea, CA team. You will support process improvements, help refine manufacturing methods, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive efficiency and quality in our PCBA production environment.

The role requires 1–2 years in process engineering, familiarity with PCBs/PCBAs, and lean or six sigma experience. We offer competitive benefits and a team‑oriented culture in sunny California.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• 1–2 years of experience in process engineering within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsabilidades

• Support process improvements and assist in developing new or updated manufacturing processes to meet production goals.
• Collect and analyze production data to identify opportunities for optimization, efficiency, and waste reduction.
• Assist in creating and maintaining process documentation, including process flow diagrams, SOPs, and technical reports.
• Collaborate with Quality, Operations, and Maintenance teams to troubleshoot process issues and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
• Support the installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment, tools, and technologies.
• Participate in safety reviews and risk assessments to ensure safe and compliant manufacturing practices.
• Train and support production personnel on process improvements, equipment operation, and best‑practice assembly techniques.
