Job summary

Powell is hiring a Logistics Coordinator - Shipping Lead to oversee outbound domestic and international shipments. You will direct Shipping Associates, ensure safety training, coordinate schedules, and verify load integrity and paperwork.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and hands-on experience with forklifts/cranes in a manufacturing setting. You will work in a production environment, maintain inventory, and collaborate with carriers to meet delivery requirements while

Qualifications

• Minimum education of High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Experience reading mechanical parts or assembly drawings is expected.
• Ability to lead a team and coordinate shipping activities.

Responsibilities

• Direct a group of Shipping Associates to follow schedules and meet goals.
• Coordinate safety training and ensure procedures are followed.
• Prepare shipping paperwork and customer delivery coordination.
• Operate forklifts or cranes and verify loads for shipment.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and ensure clean work areas.
