Job summary

Semex in Madison, WI is seeking a Shipping & Materials Handler to efficiently receive, store, pick, package, and ship semen products and materials. You will coordinate shipments with internal teams and carriers, maintain accurate inventory, and support daily warehouse operations while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role requires 1+ years in shipping/receiving, basic ERP skills, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, distribution, materials handling, or related environment; agriculture/dairy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, document, store, and track incoming products, materials, and inventory.
• Pick, prepare, package, label, and stage orders for shipment following procedures.
• Prepare shipping containers, coordinate shipment pickups and deliveries, maintain shipping documentation.
• Process field returns, issue call tags, support inventory transfers, and maintain inventory accuracy.
