Job summary

Westlake is seeking a warehouse associate to handle manual, clerical duties for sample preparation and shipment. You will manage orders, timing, and inventory while coordinating with carriers and vendors.

The role requires reading PO/shipping docs, strong computer skills, and forklift operation. You will support safety, cycle counts, and daily freight activities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets purchase orders and shipping docs.
• Interprets a variety of instructions from schedules or texts.
• Proficient with computers and MS Office basics.
• Forklift experience required.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with teams.
• Embrace teamwork and self-motivation in a fast-paced setting.
• Capable of learning MS Office within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Assist with production schedules and material requests based on priority and due dates.
• Verify receiving documents and match PO, packing slips, and prints.
• Reconcile counts with purchase orders and packing slips.
• Place incoming goods into inventory and support cycle counts.
• Coordinate truck loads, LTL pickups, and delivery schedules.
• Ensure safety procedures and operate material handling equipment safely.
• Support yearly physical inventory and expedite where needed.
