Job summary

Westlake Management Services is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support preparation and shipment of customer samples, components, and finished products via FedEx, UPS, USPS, or other carriers. You will assist with receiving, inventory, and scheduling truck loads in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety standards, processing documents, coordinating material movements, and helping with annual physical inventory.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required or preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret purchase orders and shipping documents.
• Proficient with computers and MS Office.
• Ability to collaborate with team and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety policies and procedures.
• Support production schedules and material requests in priority order.
• Ensure accuracy of receiving documents and PO/packing slips.
• Match counts between orders, packing slips and receiving docs.
• File all receiving paperwork in PO sequence.
• Verify orders for accuracy and assist with discrepancies.
• Place incoming merchandise into inventory and assist with annual cycle counts.
• Expedite internal and some external shipments.
• Load/unload materials using forklift as required.
• Schedule truck loads and LTL pickups/deliveries.
• Prepare work schedules and manage workflow with safety standards.
• Ensure operation of material handling equipment.
• Contact vendors to obtain favorable freight rates and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform other duties as requested.
• Maintain regular attendance and scheduling flexibility.
