Job summary

Westlake Pipe & Fittings is seeking a warehouse associate responsible for accurate receiving, storing, preparing and shipping orders. You will count products, report shortages, and assist with inbound/outbound freight while maintaining safe storage practices and operating equipment as needed.

Ideal candidates read and count accurately, perform basic math, and can stand or walk for long periods. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally, with a focus

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, count accurately and perform basic math.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Exerting up to 100 lbs occasionally and up to 50 lbs frequently.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accurate receiving, storing, preparing and shipping orders.
• Count all products and compare to manifest; report shortages and damages.
• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations (if forklift qualified).
• Maximize space usage and safely store items onto racks.
• Ensure correct quantity and type of product is picked and transported to shipping areas.
• Maintain equipment and assigned areas in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
