Job summary

CMC is seeking a dedicated team player to support maintenance operations across our facilities. You will assist maintenance staff, participate in safety programs, and help keep equipment running by performing minor repairs and inspections.

A strong work ethic and ability to multitask are essential. This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, working rotating shifts that may include weekends and holidays, and a commitment to safe practices and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to rotate shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Ability to learn quickly and multitask.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist maintenance personnel as needed.
• Communicate production issues and safety concerns.
• Fill out equipment inspection reports each shift.
• Perform minor maintenance or repairs as needed.
• Support continuous improvement and daily housekeeping.
• Follow startup/shutdown/emergency procedures.
• Work safely and wear PPE.
