Job summary

CMC is seeking an office associate to greet visitors, manage phones, and support inventory and paperwork in a fast-paced plant environment. You will handle daily administrative tasks, verify shipments, and assist with production tagging and order preparation.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication, attention to detail, and teamwork in an industrial setting, with SAP and Excel proficiency. Training and advancement opportunities are available at CMC.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work in a safety-conscious industrial environment.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and MS Outlook.
• Experience with SAP preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow directions with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of end-to-end accounts payable processes.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors, answer plant phone line, and represent the first impression of CMC.
• Perform basic office duties like answering calls, directing emails and faxes.
• Assist in performing inventory on material.
• Ensure stock materials are received and tagged with inventory/SAP tags.
• Print tags on jobs for daily production.
• Verify incoming shipments against bills of lading and invoices.
• Prepare orders for shipment and complete all paperwork.
