Job summary

ALS is seeking a Shipping Manager in Houston, TX to oversee receiving, processing calls from customers, and act as the end-to-end contact for orders. The role emphasizes accuracy in inventory, safety, and cross-functional coordination to keep shipping operations efficient.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ years of laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process customer calls and serve as the end-to-end contact for orders.
• Print, process, and ship orders and build kits for shipments.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and manage warehouse operations for Tribology, North America.
• Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, billing, HR) to complete tasks.
• Ensure safety programs and equipment maintenance are followed daily.
