Job summary

Alamo Group is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, distribution, order fulfillment, and shipping. You will manage warehouse leads and staff, set performance expectations, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring safety, quality, and cost objectives.

The role requires strong leadership, expertise in ERP and data reporting, and a proven ability to optimize processes across multiple shifts.

Qualifications

Direct leadership of warehouse staff and leads, with accountability for performance.
Experience managing receiving, warehousing, inventory control, and shipping processes.
Ability to analyze operations data and drive measurable improvements.
Experience coordinating staffing and prioritizing work to meet production needs.
Knowledge of warehouse budgets, labor utilization, and cost control.
Proficiency with ERP systems, Excel, and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, warehousing, and shipping.
Directly manage warehouse leads and employees, including hiring, onboarding, training, and evaluations.
Develop staff in daily coordination, training, communication, problem solving, and escalation of issues.
Set daily priorities and staffing based on production schedules and customer commitments.
Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits, investigate variances.
