Job summary

Dohrn Transfer is seeking a Full Time Office Clerk at our Indianapolis, IN terminal. Pay $19.52/Hour, Hours Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm. Benefits include Health/ Vision/ Dental insurance, 401k matching, life insurance, short/long term disability and more.

To locate and correctly place over, short, damaged, and missing freight and prevent claims. We will train; previous trucking experience is not necessary and office experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School completion or equivalent.
• Valid Driver License.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented, problem-solver, self-motivated.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain great relationships with customers.
• Ability to work in a team as well as individually.
• Excellent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Locate and correctly place over, short, damaged, and missing freight.
• Review manifests, bills of lading and delivery receipts.
• Assist terminals and customers regarding over/short/damaged freight.
• Request dispositions for redelivery, reconsignment and returns.
• Locate missing freight and research mis-delivered freight for correct delivery.
• Billing of disposition freight.
• Other duties as needed.
