Responsibilities

• Take ownership of expedited and hot order shipments daily.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure shipments leave the facility on time.
• Provide domestic and international freight quotes to Customer Service.
• File claims for missing or damaged shipments with carriers.
• Support Logistics Team with corrective actions from Quality.
• Assist export processes and generate export paperwork (FI, CI, SLI, Packing List).
• Verify HTS, net/gross weights, and AES filings for compliance.
• Communicate with freight forwarders and ensure documentation accompanies shipments.

Experience:

• Export shipping documentation required
• Shipping international shipments required

• Shipping small parcel and LTL freight shipments

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Capable of problem solving, troubleshooting and properly escalating issues as needed
• Ability to effectively communicate, prioritize and coordinate with internal and external customers in a professional manner

• Experience in Oracle or any ERP system required

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Taking ownership of the expedites and hot order shipments each day
• Investigating, coordinating, and following up with various departments to ensure shipments are produced and leave our facility in a timely manner
• Providing domestic and international freight quotes to the Customer Service Team
• Responsible for the filing of claims for missing shipments and damage claims with carriers
• Support the Logistics Team in investigating corrective actions issues by the Quality Team
• Assist with executing PSG California's export operational processes and procedures for international export shipping documentation as needed
• Generate and review all functions of the export paperwork process to ensure accuracy for custom's clearance in countries all over the world
• Generating of international paperwork: to include Financial Invoices (FI), Commercial Invoices (CI), Shipper's Letter of Instruction (SLI), Packing List
• Auditing and verifying the net and gross weights along with the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS)
• Communicating with freight forwarders and providing all international export documentation with the shipments before it leaves the PSG California facility
• Follow up with freight forwarders to obtain the Electronic Export Information (EEI) filings to ensure we are within compliance
• Filing of Automated Export System (AES) documents
• Filing of scanned and signed BOLs
• Maintaining the company's GT-Export Team email account
• Reviewing, filing, and organizing with the current systems in place
• Downloading and filing reports from the internal database
• Coordinate and support with the internal customers service and shipping/logistics teams
• Assists in the maintenance of appropriate recordkeeping and due diligence in accordance with all governing regulatory requirements
• Follow all safety rules and regulations and promote 5S
• Flexible to work overtime and occasional Saturdays when required
• Performs all other duties assigned
