Job summary

Stord is hiring a Customer Service Coordinator to act as the liaison between customers and internal teams. You will input and verify BOLs, check in/out carriers, schedule appointments, and maintain documentation while providing professional communication with clients.

The role requires at least 1 year in customer service, HS diploma/GED, and familiarity with MS Word/Excel; LEAN process improvement is encouraged to optimize daily workflows. This is an on-site Kentucky role with standard hours.

Qualifications

• Completion of High School Diploma and/or GED.
• Must be willing to submit to drug screen and background check.
• Must be able to stand for periods of up to 12 hours a day.
• Must pass pre-employment test if applicable.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service role.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Power Point.
• Computer/WMS experience preferred.
• RF experience preferred.
• Suggest ideas to improve daily processes (LEAN).

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with issues, act as a liaison between customers and Stord personnel, answer questions, offer solutions, and research issues
• Accurately input and verify BOLs
• Check in and out all carriers
• Make or change customer appointments
• Organize files and maintain required information and documentation
• Generate and retain required customer and Stord reporting
• Update outbound schedule and dispatch at scheduled times
• Print outbound BOLs for drivers
• Communicate professionally with customers verbally and in writing
• Assist with answering phones and making appointments
• Maintain an orderly desk area
• Perform additional duties assigned by Supervisor or Management
