Lozier Corporation seeks a DC Shipping Clerk to print and manage outbound paperwork and packing lists, acting as the first contact at the shipping desk. You will ensure drivers leave with correct export documents and seals, and support the export coordinator on Canadian shipments.

Responsibilities include shipment close in Catalyst, carrier communications, and log maintenance. Strong organization, basic PC skills, and good communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• None required at this time.
• Up to 2 years general maintenance and/or custodial experience.
• Ability to organize activities and manage time effectively.
• Intermediate PC Skills including Microsoft Word, Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively face to face, by telephone, email, or CB radio.

Responsibilities

• Act as point of first contact at the shipping desk when calls come in or someone checks in at the DC.
• Print and maintain paperwork for each truck load and LTL trailer; verify export documents, hazmat paperwork, trailer numbers, and seals.
• Print maps for drivers and support export documents for Canadian shipments (2nd shift).
• Perform shipment close in Catalyst for LTL, small package/air, and truckload shipments.
• Call LTL carriers for trailer pickup and coordinate dock pickups.
• Log inbound trailers and containers and maintain receiving paperwork.
• Maintain Haz-Mat file for DOT compliance.
• Provide weekend coverage and cross-train on additional projects as needed.
• Demonstrate reliability, timeliness, and teamwork in daily work.
