Job summary

Sanmina Corporation is seeking a Shipping Data Entry Coordinator to support international shipments from the San Jose area. You will enter data from source documents into Oracle, verify accuracy, and prepare commercial invoices and AES filings for global orders.

You will schedule pickups, coordinate with freight carriers, and assist with invoicing and shipping workflows using Excel and Word. A background in diverse logistics, export compliance, and attention to detail is required.

Qualifications

Job Purpose:

Enters data from a source document into a computer system. Verifies entries for accuracy and completeness. May convert data from one electronic system to another. Performs audits of own work or that of others to ensure conformance with established procedures. May work with stand alone data systems or enterprise wide tools supporting activities such as marketing lead tracking, fulfillment, manufacturing, and equipment maintenance or materials transactions.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:

• Pack shipments securely and prepare goods for transport. Lifts heavy objects (under 50lbs) and stand or walk during the shift.
• Schedule pickups and contact freight or delivery companies like UPS or FedEx
• Enter shipping details from paper or digital files into Oracle.
• Create Commercial Invoices and file documents through the AES system for global orders.
• Perform driving duties as needed to support local transport or inventory moves (a plus).
• Manage filing systems, retrieve "Proof of Delivery" documents, and write simple administrative memos.
• Utilize Excel to track shipping tasks, schedules, and inventory status.
• Handle invoicing and general shipping workflows using primary software tools.

Education and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience handling international shipments.
• Experience using Oracle is a big plus. Proficiency in basic MS Office (Excel and Word).
• Strong understanding of international shipping processes, compliance, and required export paperwork.
• High attention to detail to spot errors, strong organizational habits, and valid driver's license (preferred).

Salary Range(annual):

$47,840 - $56,160 ($23 - $27 / hour)

Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
