Job summary

Timken is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to manage outbound shipments using SAP, coordinate with production planning and transportation providers, and ensure accurate, on-time delivery. The role interfaces with customer service, warehousing, and finance to support inventory accuracy and shipping documentation.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in shipping/logistics, SAP ERP experience, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s preferred in supply chain, logistics, or related field.
• Experience with SAP SD/MM/LE is desirable and manufacturing or distribution background is a plus.
• Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and Teams; strong analytical and data-entry skills required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outbound shipments to customers, distribution centers, and intercompany locations.
• Verify shipment quantities, packaging, labeling, and documentation for accuracy.
• Create and process bills of lading, packing slips, export docs, invoices, and carrier docs.
