Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead day-to-day warehouse and shipping operations in Walton, KY. You will manage a team, oversee inventory, and ensure safety, accuracy, and strong customer service in line with company policies.

Responsibilities include KPI tracking, staff development, backorder management, ERP reconciliation, and cost control across warehouse activities. This role emphasizes safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in distribution, logistics, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or Manager.
• Strong computer literacy with Windows, MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and Internet.
• Experience operating forklift equipment is preferred.
• High level of discretion and work ethic.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• CPR, First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogens certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Implement and assure all company safety programs and policies are followed.
• Track and maintain all shipping KPIs to exceed productivity, quality and service goals.
• Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate staff as required.
• Oversee warehouse supervisors and direct tasks and projects.
• Monitor and manage backorders and substitutions.
• Communicate backorders promptly to customer service.
• Verify ERP systems including finished goods and raw materials on a daily basis.
• Oversee warehouse spend and variances.
• Coordinate cycle counts and physical inventory processes.
• Ensure all warehouse equipment is maintained and functional.
• Order materials and supplies for warehouse and shipping.
• Lead yearly reviews and goal setting for direct and indirect reports.
