Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1–3 years shipping or logistics experience in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with carrier software or ERP applications (PLEX a plus).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Logistics Coordination: Schedule and dispatch outbound freight carriers (LTL and small parcel).
• Documentation Management: Prepare Bills of Lading, packing slips, commercial invoices, and customs forms.
• Carrier Relations: Communicate with 3PLs and brokers for quotes and delays.
• Order Verification: Cross-check loads against customer orders and picking travelers.
• Inventory & Auditing: Conduct cycle counts and maintain ERP records for accuracy.
• Material Handling: Pack and secure palletized loads and ensure safe transit.
