Job summary

Roskam Foods is seeking an organized office assistant to support daily operations in logistics. You will handle clerical tasks, create BOLs, and coordinate truck dock assignments while ensuring driver IDs are checked and trailers are sealed.

Responsibilities include supporting bulk receiving, yard checks, and paperwork accuracy, with a strong emphasis on customer service and smooth inbound/outbound truck flow.

Responsibilities

• Running the day-to-day office tasks such as making appointments and answering phones.
• Creating BOLs for shipments.
• Assigning trucks to appropriate dock doors.
• Instructing Hi-Lo Ops on the next priorities.
• Checking truck drivers’ IDs to ensure compliance.
• Sealing trailers after loading.
• Coordinating switcher/shuttle moves.
• Performing bulk receiving when at M2 or Mazda.
• Completing yard and refer checks.
• Verifying completion and accuracy of paperwork.
• Providing customer service and supporting inbound/outbound truck flow.

• Customer service
• Controlling the flow of inbound/outbound trucks
• Performing any other clerical work that needs to be done
