Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Illinois is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support packaging, stocking, receiving, and shipping operations. You will use hand tools and operate a pallet jack, maintaining accurate records and ensuring items are ready for the production line.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 1+ year in distribution or warehouse, and strong communication. Proficiency with Excel and Word is preferred, and the team environment values reliability and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 1+ year distribution/warehouse experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Package shipments and ship via UPS, FedEx, and motor freight.
• Maintain stock of packaging materials.
• Receive inventory and prepare receiving reports matched to POs.
• Report damaged items for RMA.
• Stock and perform cycle counts; adjust quantities.
• Assemble kits from inventory.
• Update calibration certificates and equipment serial numbers.
• Operate hand and power tools to assemble, test, and set up monitors and detectors.
• Keep a clean, ready area.
• Perform final checks and record-keeping for materials.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Package all shipments and ship via UPS, Federal Express and motor freight.
• Maintain stock of all required packaging material.
• Receive inventory and supplies; write up receiving reports and match to purchase orders.
• Reports any damaged or defective items to supervisor for RMA to vendor.
• Stock and maintain inventory and perform cycle counts and adjust quantities.
• Pulls required parts from inventory to create assembly kits
• Update and maintain customer calibration certificates and equipment serial number log.
• Using a variety of hand & power tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment perform a series of operations to correctly assemble program and set up all monitors and detectors.
• Maintains a clean, neat and member ready area
• Perform final checks for defective items, ensure all working items are put into inventory and keep detailed records of materials
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge/Skills

• High School diploma or GED
• 1+ year distribution/warehouse industry experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word
• Pulling, packing, stocking and able to frequently lift and or move up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to operate pallet jack for loading and unloading
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Organized individual with attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
