Job summary

ESTEVE in Morton Grove, IL is seeking a Warehouse Associate to open and verify packages, process receipts, and resolve discrepancies with appropriate teams. You will breakdown, label, and store materials, prepare shipments, and ensure accurate inventory records.

The role requires operating forklifts or other trucks, lifting up to 50 lbs, and maintaining compliance with environmental and safety standards. This is a on-site, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read inventory lists to match the correct product with the label.
• Able to reconcile inventory.
• Attend to detail to identify defective products.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Able to stand and bend for long periods in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for opening all packages, verifying packages according to order and invoices (quantity, quality, price etc.)
• Enter receipts in system, and alert necessary parties for over shipments, discrepant material, or mismatched picklist. Research items with discrepancies
• Break down, physically segregate, and move materials into appropriate locations throughout the facility (i.e., warehouse, quarantine, cold storage, etc.), which may include use of drum-dolly, forklift, cart, or pallet jack, and ensure materials are organized and placed in the correct location
• Package and weigh items; print shipping labels and postage
• Obtain and process product orders (pull, package, and ship)
• Investigate and resolve shipping issues; work with purchasing/accounting, as necessary
• Ensure adherence to environmental management and systems (i.e., IATA, DOT, etc.)
