Job summary

Brook & Whittle Ltd. is seeking a Shipping Clerk to inspect, prepare, and pack customer orders with a focus on final quality checks and accuracy. The role follows specific shipping instructions and schedules, with a standard 7:00am–3:30pm Monday–Friday shift.

Experience in shipping processes and attention to detail are essential. The position requires physical stamina, reliability, and the ability to work with team members to meet deadlines and customer specifications.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift / push/ pull up to 45 lbs unassisted.
• Must be able to stand for the majority of shift.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without restriction.
• Must pass drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand job jacket to ensure production steps are completed and product matches jacket requirements.
• Check packing instructions and quantity to ensure order ships per customer specifications and correct carrier.
• Enter shipment information in shipping system to produce packing slip and customer information.
• Affix packing slip and labels; obtain supervisor sign-off when needed.
• Update shipping information on the job jacket.
• Process shipment through automated shipping system ensuring correct carrier and shipping charges.
• Maintain cleanliness of area and report issues to supervisor at end of shift.
• Attend work on time daily and be reliable.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
