Job summary

Brook & Whittle Ltd. is seeking a Shipping Clerk for 1st and 2nd shifts in Hamilton, OH. The role involves sorting, labeling, and packaging orders, coordinating shipments with customers and carriers, and processing international shipments using the internet.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and accuracy of each order using QA principles.
• Package and label orders per customer specifications.
• Handle exception shipments via carrier websites when needed.
• Process shipments in the Shiprite system as required.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and move heavy carts with pallet jacks.
• Return incomplete orders to press when stock is insufficient.
• Modify orders in the OM retrieve system as needed.
• Communicate with customers about shipping requirements and freight specifics.
• Scan order barcodes and track inbound shipments.
• Move packed boxes to conveyors and load pallets with manual jacks.
