Job summary

Brook & Whittle Ltd. is seeking a Shipping Clerk to inspect, prepare, and pack customer orders, performing a final quality check and ensuring accuracy according to shipping instructions. This role operates 3:30pm to 12:00am, Monday through Friday, in a manufacturing environment.

Candidate must lift up to 45 lbs, stand for long periods, and work well with others, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality. Eligible to work in the United States and pass background and drug screens; benefits are

Qualifications

HS Diploma or GED required.
Must pass drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

Follow job jacket to ensure required production steps are completed and product matches requirements.
Check packing instructions and quantities to ensure orders ship per customer specs and carrier.
Enter shipment information in the shipping system to produce packing slips and customer details.
Affix packing slip and labels; obtain supervisor sign-off when needed.
Update shipping information on the job jacket.
Process shipments through the automated system ensuring correct carrier and charges.
End of shift: clean area and inform supervisor of issues; maintain daily attendance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
