Job summary

Brook & Whittle Ltd. is seeking a Shipping Supervisor to lead the Shipping Department and ensure accurate, timely order fulfillment.

You will direct daily shipping activities, manage priorities, and coordinate with Production, Customer Service, and Transportation to meet customer in‑hands dates. The role requires strong knowledge of shipping methods, documentation, and safety practices, with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related field preferred.
• Two+ years in shipping/logistics/supervisory roles preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shipping department operations to meet schedules and accuracy.
• Coordinate with production, customer service, scheduling and carriers for on-time shipments.
• Prepare and review bills of lading and shipping documents for compliance.
• Provide clear instructions and training to shipping staff.
• Identify issues, implement corrective actions, and drive process improvements.
