Job description

THIS IS A 7 WEEK ASSIGNMENT WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO GO PERM. APPLY FOR DETAILS IF INTERESTED.

Pay :

• 21 - $22.50 / hr depending on experience

Shift :

• 1st Shift, 7am - 4pm, one hour lunch

Responsibilities :

• Process and receive materials and equipment, maintain inventory control and records.
• Accurately tally goods and services received, including weight, destination, and charges from bills of lading and shipper's declaration.
• Receive incoming materials, verify shipment accuracy with packing slips and purchase orders, and process return shipments if needed.
• Trace lost shipments and handle customer claims of lost shipments; retrieve proof of delivery documents.
• Collaborate with inside sales to review and correct customer order discrepancies.
• Communicate with transport companies and suppliers to expedite, trace, or return merchandise that does not conform to specifications or purchase orders.
• Resolve discrepancies on the Metalware system or on the manifest.
• Keep records of materials received and upload to the Imaging system for team access.
• Must have experience with Microsoft Office.
