Job description

Our client, a leading automotive company, is seeking an Accounts Receivable (AR) Clerk to join their team. As an AR Clerk, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Accounts Receivable team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details
  • Job Title: Accounts Receivable (AR) Clerk
  • Location: Irvine, CA
  • Pay Range: $20-$25 per hour
Responsibilities
  1. Perform monthly reconciliations for various non-dealer accounts, such as intercompany transactions, exports, employee purchases, car leases, port contractors, remanufacturing, and motorsports.
  2. Publish dealer statements and process electronic funds transfers (EFT) at month-end.
  3. Collect overdue amounts from both dealer and non-dealer accounts.
  4. Prepare and deliver monthly AR Securitization reports while maintaining accurate financial records to support the organization’s financial health.
  5. Monitor activities of inactive/terminated dealers with regions and dealer developments to ensure charge accuracy before final transfer or termination.
Requirements
  1. AA degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  2. 1 to 3 years of experience preferred.
  3. Basic AR accounting knowledge preferred.
  4. Effective communication skills.
