Job summary

Kinedyne in Ohio seeks a Shipping Clerk to ensure accurate preparation, tracking, and documentation of outbound customer shipments. You will coordinate with internal teams and external partners to maintain process conformity and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include preparing and verifying shipping documents, printing labels, monitoring open work orders, and coordinating with Export Documentation Provider for international shipments.

Qualifications

• Functional literacy in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Basic math including counting, addition, subtraction, measuring.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word).
• Intermediate data entry and document processing in D365 or similar ERP.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, adapt to changing priorities, and multitask.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a shipping, logistics or documentation-focused role within a warehouse, manufacturing or distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, verify, and organize shipping documents to support order fulfillment.
• Print and apply labels for standard and special orders.
• Monitor open work orders and request warehouse transfers when needed.
• Maintain communication regarding shipping terms (FOB/MOD) and resolve discrepancies with Customer Service and Billing.
• Coordinate with Export Documentation Provider for international shipments.
• Maintain records of outbound shipments for audits and traceability.
• Cross-train and assist in shipping duties as needed.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies or quality issues.
• Process completed work through billing.
• Route product for pick-up using Kinedyne’s TMS or customer TMS.
• Coordinate with Customer Service on Export orders to ensure documentation is correct.
• Identify and request part transfers between warehouses.
• Print labels per customer requirements.
• Maintain status of all open work and EOS report.
• Perform additional duties as defined by Warehouse Supervisor.
• Comply with safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Customer Service, Billing, Inventory Control).
• Escalate discrepancies, part shortages, or documentation issues to management.
• Authority to generate/validate internal shipping docs and transfer requests.
• Authority to release documentation for shipment after checks.
