Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Shipping/Receiving Clerk in Ohio to verify and document incoming and outgoing shipments. You will prepare shipments, receive deliveries, and operate warehouse systems to ensure accurate records.

The role requires basic Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask safely in a warehouse environment. Prior experience in a distribution setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Associates degree or two years equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum six months in a warehouse or distribution environment required.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Excel required.
• Attention to detail and quality required.
• Ability to multitask safely.

Responsibilities

• Document management to support operations.
• Label, pack, and load items for shipment.
• Stage shipments and prepare docks for receiving.
• Operate stretch wrap and prepare pallets.
• Unload deliveries and move items to correct area.
• Inspect for damage and document discrepancies.
• Maintain records of all received and shipped items.
• Check receipts against purchase orders for accuracy.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials and keep area clean.
• Ensure facility is inspection ready for SQFI/FDA as applicable.
• May assist with inventory cycle counts.
