Randstad USA in Patchogue, NY, is seeking a Shipping Clerk / Fabricator & Driver to handle deliveries, shop fabrication, and warehouse operations. Shifts Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with pay ranging from $25.00 to $30.00 per hour.

Role involves operating a 24-foot box truck and 1-ton van across NYC's five boroughs (Non-CDL required). Candidates must have a valid driver's license with a clean record and a blend of hands-on fabrication and warehouse experience.

Competenze

A leading manufacturer is seeking a Shipping Clerk / Fabricator & Driver to handle deliveries, shop fabrication, and warehouse operations! Working Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM at $25.00 to $30.00 per hour, this versatile role involves operating a 24-foot box truck and 1-ton van across NYC's 5 boroughs (Non-CDL required), supporting shop metal fabrication, and managing shipping and receiving. Candidates need a valid driver's license with a clean record, comfortable driving in NYC traffic, and a blend of hands‑on fabrication and warehouse experience; this company offers overtime and great benefits!

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming raw metal inventory, sheet stock, and hardware shipments
• Verify shipment quantities, match packing slips to purchase orders, and report discrepancies or damaged goods
• Package, strap, crate, and label finished metal assemblies and architectural products for secure transit
• Log all incoming and outgoing inventory into system records and maintain accurate warehouse stock levels
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead material handling equipment to stage materials
• Assist the shop fabrication team with sheet metal cutting, grinding, deburring, drilling, and prep work
• Perform light metal assembly, fitting, and custom fabrication support according to shop orders
• Safely operate a 24-foot box truck or 1-ton van on an occasional, as‑needed basis to deliver products across the 5 boroughs
• Plan efficient delivery routes through city traffic when driving duties are assigned for the day
• Keep the shipping dock, warehouse storage areas, and fabrication shop floors clean, organized, and safe
