Job summary

Randstad USA in Patchogue, NY, is seeking a Shipping Clerk / Fabricator & Driver to handle deliveries, shop fabrication, and warehouse operations. Shifts Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with pay ranging from $25.00 to $30.00 per hour.

Role involves operating a 24-foot box truck and 1-ton van across NYC's five boroughs (Non-CDL required). Candidates must have a valid driver's license with a clean record and a blend of hands-on fabrication and warehouse experience.

Qualifications

• Candidate should have hands-on fabrication and warehouse experience.
• Experience with loading/unloading and inventory control is preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming metal inventory and hardware shipments.
• Verify quantities and report discrepancies.
• Package, label, and ship finished assemblies for transit.
• Log inventory in system and maintain stock levels.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Assist shop fabrication with metal cutting and prep work.
• Occasionally deliver products across NYC by box truck/van.
• Plan efficient delivery routes when driving.
