Job summary

A & H Metals, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Driver / Warehouse Assistant to handle daily local deliveries to commercial customers and construction sites, and to assist in warehouse tasks as needed.

You’ll drive trucks from pickups to 20' flat beds, perform safety inspections, and help load/unload shipments while maintaining a fast-paced, friendly atmosphere. This full-time role includes great benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Must be able to bend, reach, lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Able to pass a DOT physical and comply with DOT standards.
• Willing to work overtime and Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Daily pickups and deliveries to commercial customers and construction sites.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Ensure trucks are loaded safely and loads are secured.
• Operate a forklift to load and unload shipments and deliveries.
• When not driving, rack raw materials and maintain shop organization.
• Follow safe driving practices and traffic rules.

Ideal candidates will have a clean driving record, be over 21, and be able to drive trucks ranging from pickups to 20' low cab forward flat beds. Requirements

• Be courteous and respectful to customers and associates while making deliveries
