About Ameritread Truck Stop Supply

At Ameritread Truck Stop Supply, an Ecore company, we cull, refurbish, and resell used tires, giving them a new lease on life as high-quality, certified reconstructed tires. We recycle rubber to create over 1,500 products, including flooring, playgrounds, athletic fields, mulch trails, and more. Our goal is to rid the planet of rubber waste!

Position

We are seeking a 2nd-shift Shipping Clerk (internally called Shipping and Tire Inspector) to join our Newville, PA location.

Compensation

Starting at $21/hr and up, based on experience.

Core Responsibilities

1. Operate yard truck for trailer swaps and yard moves safely.
2. Inspect tires to assess condition: sell, repair, or scrap.
3. Collect and sign Bills of Lading from drivers.
4. Work with production to supply correct materials to meet demands.
5. Maintain a clean shipping area, dock, and storage yard.
6. Operate magnet and sweeper to prevent metal/rubber buildup.
7. Submit maintenance requests.
8. Assemble orders: package, wrap, strap, weigh pallets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or 4+ years of relevant experience.
• 1+ years of recent forklift/clamp truck experience.
• Ability to multitask, adapt, and work under pressure.
• Proficient in basic math and reading units of measure.
• Strong communication skills and computer proficiency; ERP experience preferred.
