Shipping Clerk, 2nd Shift (Finance)

At Ameritread Truck Stop Supply, an Ecore company, we cull, refurbish, and resell used tires, giving them a new lease on life as high-quality, certified reconstructed tires. With the waste, we recycle the rubber to create more than 1,500 different products, including high-performance flooring, pour-in-place playgrounds, athletic fields, mulch trails, and more. We aim to rid the planet of rubber waste!

Location: 1120 Green Spring Road, Newville, PA 17241

We are seeking a 2nd-shift Shipping Clerk (internally called Shipping and Tire Inspector) to join our new Newville, PA location.

Pay: Starting at $21/hr and up, based on experience

Core Responsibilities:

1. Operate yard truck for trailer swaps and yard moves safely.
2. Load and unload vans using forklifts or clamp trucks.
3. Inspect tires to assess condition: sell, repair, or scrap.
4. Collect and sign Bills of Lading from drivers.
5. Coordinate with production to supply correct materials to meet demands.
6. Maintain a clean shipping area, dock, and storage yard.
7. Operate magnet and sweeper to prevent metal and rubber buildup.
8. Submit maintenance requests when needed.
9. Assemble orders: package, wrap, strap, and weigh pallets.

Required Experience:

1. High School Diploma/GED or 4+ years of relevant experience.
2. At least 1 year of recent forklift or clamp truck experience.
3. Ability to multitask, adapt, and work under pressure.
4. Proficiency in basic math and reading units of measure.
5. Strong communication skills and computer proficiency; ERP experience is preferred.
