• Package outgoing orders with banding, wrapping, shrink wrap, or crating as needed.
• Handle return shipments and documentation.
• Communicate shipment tracking and follow up with appropriate personnel.
• Resolve/report issues during transit and prepare shipping quotes.
• Handle freight claims until resolved and negotiate shipping fees with couriers.
• Prepare reports for management and keep meticulous shipment records.
• Back up scheduling/arranging inbound freight and read a tape measure.

## Shipping ClerkApply: US - Daleville (VA): Full time: Posted Today: R13286**Compensation Range:**$ 25.00We are looking for an organized shipping clerk to handle all the service order shipments – including ordered and fabricated parts to pack list specifications.When needed this person will assist the shipping coordinator in the responsibilities for arranging over dimensional and other contract-based shipments based on production schedule and customer demands. The shipping clerk is also responsible for tracking shipments.Also, when required this employee will need to assist in arranging inbound freight from Munter’s vendors.To be successful as a shipping clerk, one must have a solid understanding and working knowledge of parcel, LTL, TL, and international shipping practices. Excellent attention to detail. A great shipping clerk can successfully multitask several tasks at once. The shipping clerk should be able to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain operations. They should be able to assist in the prompt resolution of any issues and have strong negation skills.
