Job summary

Munters in Daleville, VA is seeking a Shipping Clerk to handle service order shipments, pack lists, and related documentation. You will ship service orders promptly, prepare BOLs, invoices, NAFTA/USMCA, and track shipments while coordinating with the shipping coordinator.

The role requires 1–3 years in dispatch or traffic management, attention to detail, strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to multitask and read a tape measure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college preferred.
• 1-3 years in dispatch or traffic management experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Create all required shipping documents for outbound loads (BOLs, pack lists, NAFTA/USMCA, Commercial Invoices, etc.).
• Promptly ship all service orders and follow process to completion.
• Package outgoing orders with banding, wrapping, shrink wrap, or crating as needed.
• Handle return shipments and documentation.
• Communicate shipment tracking and follow up with appropriate personnel.
• Resolve/report issues during transit and prepare shipping quotes.
• Handle freight claims until resolved and negotiate shipping fees with couriers.
• Prepare reports for management and keep meticulous shipment records.
• Back up scheduling/arranging inbound freight and read a tape measure.
