Summary

The Shipper is responsible for boxing and processing Pick Suggestions while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and quality. This includes processing all Exports, ASN, Freight, Pull/Pick parts throughout the warehouse, adhering to departmental processes, verifying customer-specific packaging, and tracking shipments/orders.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a shipping warehouse environment recommended
• UPS and/or FedEx shipping experience
• Computer literate, experience with ERP Stock Control Systems
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math and counting skills
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented
• Achieve established boxing metrics
• Must be a team player, able to solve problems and make decisions
• Quality focused with a high emphasis on accuracy
• High School Diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent experience

Technical and Managerial Competencies

• Ability to read and interpret Pick Suggestions and Work Orders
• Understanding of PEI Quality Policy, FOD, and AS9100
• Understanding of FIFO practices
• Knowledge of product identification and lot traceability
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Outlook
• Understanding of shipping regulations, including exports and transportation
• Assist in training new employees

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities

• Process Pick Suggestions via ERP
• Handle ASN’s, export orders, freight orders through ERP and portals
• Confirm pick and ship work orders
• Box parts per instructions, create barcodes, perform C of C functions
• Manage shipping supplies and use weighing scales for parts
• Complete all documentation per PEI-Genesis, ISO9001, and AS9100 standards
• Maintain a clean, organized work area following 5S principles
