Position Overview

As a Shipping Clerk, you will verify and keep records of outgoing shipments.

2nd Shift Shipping Clerk

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00 PM - 2:30 AM

Location: C&S, 125 North Commerce Way, Bethlehem, PA

Description

• Prepare shipping documents such as work orders, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route products.
• Record shipping data including weight, charges, space availability, damages, and discrepancies for reporting, accounting, and record keeping.
• Communicate with establishment representatives to resolve issues like damage or non-conformance to specifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Travel Required: No

Work Environment

• Warehouse: Perishable (28F to 60F)
• Warehouse: Grocery (50F to 90F)
• Office: Temperature-controlled (65F to 75F)

Skills and Qualifications

• Experience with pallet jacks preferred.
• Experience in grocery selection is a plus.
• Ability to work overnight shifts and overtime as required.
• Physical abilities suitable for warehouse tasks.

Experience

• 0-2 years: At least six months of warehouse experience; pallet jack experience preferred.

Qualifications include attendance, a High School Diploma or GED, and qualities such as initiative, productivity, quality, safety, and values.
