Job Description

At Ameritread Truck Stop Supply, an Ecore company, we recycle, refurbish, and resell used tires, giving them a new lease on life as high-quality, certified reconstructed tires. We also recycle rubber to create over 1,500 products, including high-performance flooring, playground surfaces, athletic fields, mulch, and trails. Our goal is to reduce rubber waste on the planet!

Location: 1120 Green Spring Road, Newville, PA 17241

We are seeking a 2nd shift Shipping Clerk (internally called Shipping and Tire Inspector) to join our new Newville, PA location.

Pay: Starting at $21/hr and up, depending on experience

Core Contributions:

• Operate yard truck safely for trailer swaps and yard moves.
• Inspect tires to determine if they are sellable, repairable, or scrap.
• Collect and sign Bills of Lading from drivers.
• Coordinate with production to supply the correct materials to meet demands.
• Maintain cleanliness of the shipping area, dock, and storage yard.
• Operate magnet and sweeper to prevent metal and rubber buildup.
• Submit maintenance requests as needed.
• Assemble orders: package, wrap, strap, and weigh pallets.
• Requirements include a High School Diploma/GED and/or 4+ years of relevant experience.
• At least 1 year of recent forklift/clamp truck experience.
• Ability to multitask, adapt, and work under pressure.
• Proficiency in basic math and reading units of measure.
• Strong communication skills and computer proficiency; ERP experience is preferred.
