Job Description

At Ameritread Truck Stop Supply, an Ecore company, we cull, refurbish, and resell used tires, giving them a new lease on life as high-quality, certified reconstructed tires. We recycle rubber to create over 1,500 products, including high-performance flooring, playgrounds, athletic fields, mulch trails, and more. Our goal is to eliminate rubber waste from the planet!

Location: 1120 Green Spring Road, Newville, PA 17241

We are excited to welcome a 2nd-shift Shipping Clerk (internally called Shipping and Tire Inspector) to our new Newville, PA location.

Pay: Starting at $21/hr and up, based on experience

Core Contributions:

• Operate yard truck for trailer swaps and yard moves safely.
• Inspect tires to assess condition: sell, repair, or scrap.
• Collect and sign Bills of Lading from drivers.
• Work with production to supply correct materials to meet demands.
• Maintain a clean shipping area, dock, and storage yard.
• Operate magnet and sweeper to prevent metal/rubber buildup.
• Submit maintenance requests.
• Assemble orders: package, wrap, strap, and weigh pallets.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED and/or 4+ years of relevant experience.
• 1+ years of recent forklift/clamp truck experience.
• Ability to multitask, adapt, and work under pressure.
• Proficient in basic math and reading units of measure.
• Strong communication skills and computer proficiency; ERP experience preferred.
