Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Shipping Clerk in Metairie, LA to support shipping, receiving and warehouse tasks in a production environment. You will sort, label, load, and organize products, while using RF scanners to track orders and inventory. The role demands reliable teamwork and adherence to safety guidelines in a fast-paced setting.

The position runs 6:00 AM–4:30 PM with some Saturday work and offers hourly wages of $17.00–$18.00, plus eligible benefits. Contract-to-hire with onsite work only.

Qualifications

• Experience performing general labor tasks in a warehouse, production, or manufacturing environment.
• working in a small consumer packaging environment.
• Previous experience in production and/or manufacturing operations.
• Ability to load and unload trucks and handle materials safely and efficiently.
• Proficiency with packaging, packing, and filling tasks for consumer products.
• Experience with inventory handling, picking, and order picking in a warehouse setting.

• Effective communication skills to follow instructions and work collaboratively with team members.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
