Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pack products according to customer orders and specifications.
• Use hand scanners and WMS to perform picking, packing, and inventory transactions.
• Inspect merchandise for quality and accuracy before packing and shipping.
• Prepare items for shipment with proper packaging, labeling and securement.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with counts.
• Prepare orders for loading onto trucks for delivery following safety regulations.
• Receive materials into the warehouse and document/store them properly.
• Comply with warehouse safety regulations and guidelines.
• Collaborate with staff to meet daily order fulfillment and production needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
• Support general warehouse duties including shipping, receiving and inventory control.

This role supports warehouse operations by accurately picking, packing, shipping, and receiving products while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting production and distribution activities. Essential Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working in supply chain, production floor, or warehouse environments.
• Experience working with quality control systems, preferably in a GMP, ISO, or HACCP environment.
• Ability to use hand scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Basic computer literacy, including the ability to type and work on a computer.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking, packing, and documentation.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and adaptable in a team environment.

Work Environment

This position is based in a warehouse and production support environment with a primary schedule of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. You will work around warehouse equipment such as forklifts and use tools including hand scanners, computers, and a warehouse management system (WMS). The work involves standing, walking, lifting, and performing general labor tasks in a fast-paced setting. The facility operates with established safety regulations, quality control systems, and inventory procedures, and expects team members to maintain a clean, organized, and safety-conscious work area.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Jefferson, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
