Position Overview:

The Shipping Clerk is responsible for preparing and processing all outgoing orders accurately and efficiently. This position ensures that shipments meet delivery deadlines and comply with customer requirements while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and quality.

Essential Job Functions:

• Ship orders using the Varsity System; scan orders and check for special instructions.
• Manage time effectively to ensure orders are shipped on or before the required “In Hands Date.”
• Use the internal tracking system, HIT Resources, to log and track shipments.
• Verify packaging and labeling accuracy prior to shipment.
• Coordinate with team members and supervisors to resolve any shipping issues or delays.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Requirements:

• Ability to learn and effectively use the shipping system.
