About the Role:

The Shipping Clerk plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of outgoing shipments within a wholesale trade environment. This position is responsible for coordinating the preparation, packaging, and dispatch of goods to meet customer orders and delivery schedules. The Shipping Clerk must maintain meticulous records of shipments, verify inventory accuracy, and communicate effectively with warehouse personnel and transportation providers. By managing the flow of goods from the warehouse to the customer, this role directly impacts customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, physically capable of handling heavy items, and adaptable to fluctuating workloads including overtime when necessary. No staffing agencies, please. Only local candidates will be considered.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years experience working in a warehouse or distribution center environment.

  • Lift and carry heavy packages safely while adhering to workplace safety guidelines.
