Job summary

Ampco Pumps Co Inc is seeking a Shipping Associate-Parts in Wisconsin. The role focuses on accurate parts picking, proper packaging, labeling, and documentation to ensure safe and timely shipments.

Responsibilities include creating shipments in the ERP system, processing via UPS WorldShip, and coordinating with customer service, purchasing, and production teams while adhering to safety and housekeeping standards. High school diploma or GED required; forklift certification is a plus.

• Communicate with customer service, purchasing and production teams.
• Follow all safety policies and maintain housekeeping standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Ampco Pumps is a fast-growing manufacturer of centrifugal and positive displacement pumps used in the food and dairy industries, desalination, and various chemical and industrial applications.

We arelooking for a reliable, detail-oriented individual for our Shipping Associate-Parts position. This individual will assist in the parts shipping duties using established policies and procedures as defined by Ampco Pumps. A self-starter with experience is desired, but willing to train the right candidate.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Pull parts accurately to fulfill customer orders.
• Package orders adequately to prevent shipping damage.
• Label parts and packages for shipment.
• Record weight and dimensions of each package.
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork, exercising strong attention to detail.
• Create shipments in ERP system.
• Process shipments using UPS WorldShip.
• Communicate regularly with customer service, purchasing and production departments.
• Follow all safety policies and maintain departmental housekeeping standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk and reach above shoulders.
• Ability to lift/move parts and/or packages of various sizes, up to 50 lbs.

Education/Experience

• High school diploma/GED
• Prior warehouse/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Forklift certified a plus.
